A talent hunt by the name of “The Battle of Talent” was organized by ‘Youth Infinity’ a youth empowerment organization formed by ‘sons of soil of Quetta’. You can read more about The Battle of Talent here. The event was successfully organized on February 19, 2012 at ‘The Brains Academy’, Quetta. With judges and selection partners PTV, FM 101 and VOK. The event was covered on media by Khyber News, Dawn News, Dunya News and Kay2 TV. While, the official media partner was Shasca(Youth ka Magazine). This was the Phase – 1 of the event phase 2 will be conducted soon and then the best participants of both phases will compete in Finale.
The event was a total success as the best of Quetta’s talent was seen performing in high spirits. Everyone was amazed that Quetta had so much hidden talent. The singers, dancers, drama performers and participants in every category performed splendidly. An Indian born Kashmiri rapper ‘Sheikh Abrrar’ who sang rap songs as his guest appearance rocked the stage and energized the event to another level.

The same ‘De-energized’ and ‘De-motivated’ youth of Quetta was full of energy and was showing its’ talent to the world on the platform provided by Youth Infinity. The participants in their interviews to TV channels said that everyone was so scared because of the terrorist activities in the city and had limited their social and intellectual life to their homes but this step taken by Youth Infinity was a step towards a better motivated society. This whole idea was generated by three young boys, with a dream to lead the youth out of darkness of ignorance, namely Waqar Shah, Luqman Khan and Junaid Shah. Their determination lead them to plan out event to which their fellow members of Youth Infinity readily agreed and was organized in such a manner, with great team spirit, that all the media persons personally congratulated Youth Infinity for conducting such an event in the dismay and hopelessness. The event totally grew a new spirit of inspiration and dedication in hearts of the youth as they witnessed that their talent is not going to remain ignored and neglected.

So, to further strengthen Youth Infinity I call upon each and every member of society from young boys and girls to parents, from parents to teachers and from teachers to all the stakeholders to lend a helpful hand to them. To aid our youth physically, morally, financially and intellectually is the need of hour.
